Jeff Crosby has been working in the Chinese arts and culture scene for 16 years as a translator, interpreter and facilitator. He has partnered with many of the leading artists, galleries, museums and publishers to produce professional content and seamless exchanges.

His translation clients include celebrated Chinese artists Zhang Xiaogang, Wang Guangyi, Zhao Zhao and Wang Luyan, institutions such as Parkview Green Museum, Yuz Museum Shanghai, Hive Center for Contemporary Art, Minsheng Art Museum and the OCAT Museums, and a wide range of galleries, including Pace Beijing, Platform China, Tang Contemporary Art and Long March Space.

Much of his translation work highlights scholarly research on contemporary art practice. He was a long-time collaborator with art historian Huang Zhuan, and has produced scholarly essays and books by Lu Peng, Xia Kejun, Carol Lu Yinghua and Wu Hung, among many others.

Jeff Crosby also provides a wide range of consulting services, mainly in the fields of Chinese contemporary art, cultural exchange, public relations and film. Notable projects include the 2016 Awards of Art China Jury Forum, the international symposium Permanence and Impermanence in Contemporary Art, the 2016 US screening tour of the documentary film Iron Moon, and the 2007 Smithsonian Folklife Festival. He is co-founder and chairman of the Yunnan Foreign Business Club.
